Optical Illusions

Optical illusion are characterized by visually perceived images that are deceptive or misleading. The information gathered by the eye is processed by the brain to give a percept that does not tally with a physical measurement of the stimulus source. There are two main types of illusion - physiological illusions that are the effects on the eyes and brain of excessive stimulation of a specific type - brightness, tilt, color, movement and cognitive illusions where the eye and brain make unconscious inferences.  These optical illusion pictures and  animations have been collected for you to find out:-

This optical illusion image makes my brain hurt.  What's throwing me off is the grid underneath the structure which makes it appear as though the upright posts have horizontal space between them - too trippy.

This is another version of the impossible triangle and this time with dice.  This is kind of dizzying when one looks all the way around it

Looks in his eye and he's facing you, look at his mouth and it looks like his face is turned.

What are the odds of three birds forming a smiley face while their flying overhead and then accidentally capturing it in a photo?

This almost looks like a normal car if I blur my vision and don't focus on the left side of the picture

a man is holding a sun

This is not an animated GIF, it's just a JPG and your mind if playing tricks on you.
