Saeed Ajmal claimed 5-68 as Pakistan won the second Test against Sri Lanka by nine wickets in Dubai.
Sri Lanka were dismissed for just 257 in nearly 110 overs as they lost nine wickets on the fourth day.
Pakistan only needed 94 for victory and they picked up the required total in just over 24 overs on day four to go 1-0 up in the three-Test series.
An unbeaten 59 from Mohammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali's 29 helped them to victory with a day to spare.
The final Test starts in Sharjah on Thursday.
