O2, the leading online mobile retailer of the United Kingdom, has announced via its coming soon page that the BlackBerry Bold 9790 will be available in January 2012.
O2 has already placed the Bold 9790 on its coming soon page, which shows that the device is coming in January but however, the company has yet not announced exact launch date and pricing details.
Moreover, the Bold 9790 was unveiled by the RIM prior this month. It runs on latest BlackBerry 7 Operating System and the smartphone is powered by 1 GHz processor to delivers smooth and fast performance for running apps, browsing the web, enjoying multimedia and working with documents.
Further notable features like an 8GB of onboard memory, 768MB RAM, a 5 MP-autofocus rear camera with LED flash offers 2592 x 1944 pixels resolution, a 2.45-inch display and NFC (Near Field Communications) enabled.

The cell phone supports 2G and 3G. 3G networks gives you greater data transfer rate. It supports 3G technologies such as HSDPA and HSUPA.
Size and Display
The phone has smaller size as compared to othe blackberry cell phones. It has 110 x 60 x 11.4 mm dimensions and 107 grams of weight. Display is also a bit smaller i.e. 2.45 inches with TFT capacitive touchscreen having 16M colors. The resolution of the display screen is 480 x 360 pixels. It has a smooth QWERTY Keypad with optical trackpad.
